As of Sunday night, police said that the officer’s condition was unknown and that more information, including his name, will be released Monday morning per investigation.

The UHD officer was frequenting a restaurant in the 10000 block of East Freeway at about 1 a.m. when "multiple shots were fired in the vicinity," police said.
