Prince Wilson, Carlos Reyes headed for SGA presidential runoff

With a record turnout for the Student Government Association, there will be a run-off election for president and vice-president positions between Vice President Prince Wilson and Director of Finance Carlos Reyes.
A total of 3,401 students voted this year compared to 2,945 from last year. Of the votes, Wilson and vice-presidential candidate Johnnie Jackson received 1,199 votes while Reyes and running-mate Matt Davis received 812 votes.
There will also be a run-off for all At-large senator positions. Run-off elections will be held March 24 – March 25. For the complete list of results, download SGA Official Election Results 2010 (PDF).
