Baseball – Rice sweeps UH

After an 8-2 loss Friday, the Cougars had already lost the Silver Glove Series, and the remaining two games could be viewed as consolation, but the Owls closed the door on that hope.

Rice won 5-2 Sunday at Cougar Field as UH dropped to 22-26 and 9-9 in Conference USA.
