UH back online

Internet connection has been restored to UH after being campus-wide for approximately 15 minutes from 3 to 4 pm today.

“We’re over subscribing. There is a saturation on the network,” said Tuy Troung, who works at the information technology availability center. “I don’t know how long it is going to last. I’m trying to get information from the analysts.”

Students were leaving the M.D. Anderson library in groups. Others sat in front of error screens, refreshing their page every couple seconds.

“I was going to study,” said Mohammed S., an economics senior. “I wanted to do my aplia (economics program) assignment, but I can’t open it… This is a little annoying.”
