Festival takes downtown


The Houston Festival Foundation held the first weekend of the Houston International Festival Saturday and Sunday in downtown Houston. This is the 42nd annual International Festival, and 200,000 people are expected to attend the event over the two weekends. The festival features musical performances, food and activities. Walk-up tickets cost $18 for adults, and will open at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.  |  Nine Nguyen/The Daily Cougar
