A contractor struck a feeder between Calhoun Lofts and Melcher Hall Tuesday, causing a temporary power outage that lasted into the evening. The contractor was on site to analyze the issue and make repairs, while Facilities Management also helped with the issue.
The affected campus buildings were SERC, M.D. Anderson Library, Houston Science Center, Hilton Hotel, Cougar Village 1, PGH, Calhoun Lofts, Athletic Alumni Center, Melcher Broadcasting and Farish Hall.
