UH kicker makes history

As UH evened its 3-3 record against UAB on Saturday, Matt Hogan gave the team a powerful leg up on the competition.
Hogan successfully made six field goals, a Conference USA record, in seven attempts. Hogan’s long was a 52-yard attempt in the third quarter, which extended the Cougar’s lead to 36-10. His lone miss was a 44 yard attempt that fell short as time expired before the half.
Hogan finished with 21 points.
