A&M evacuates students after bomb threat

Texas A&M issued a campus wide evacuation notice to students through its website at 11:42 a.m. Friday.

The University received a bomb threat and cancelled all classes, evacuating students, faculty, staff and visitors to either the North or South.

As of 2:30 p.m., evening activities planned on campus had not been cancelled, and facilities were being searched to ensure safety, according to the school’s website.
