UHDPS launches investigation of sexual assault on campus

After receiving an anonymous letter in the mail, UH Department of Public Safety announced it is launching an investigation into an alleged sexual assault of a female student near Moody Towers.

According to the security alert sent at 7:07 p.m., the incident occurred Oct. 16, but the student did not report it to UHDPS.

A suspect has been restricted from entering campus pending further investigation. No further information will be released due to the sensitive nature of the case, UHDPS said in the email.
