This year, the battle of the Silver Glove, the UH-Rice rivalry, will broadcast nationally on Fox Sports Net Houston.
The game on April 20 will mark the ninth time UH — with its 4-4 cumulative record — has appeared on FSN Houston. The Cougar baseball team has been on 14 different television networks since 1985, and have compiled a 25-39 record against A&M, LSU, Rice and Arkansas.
The series opener marks the ninth consecutive televised game between UH and Rice. The Cougars will be presented opportunities for more televised games as the season progresses.
The Conference USA Baseball Championship will be televised on CBS Sports Network at 1 p.m. May 26 from Reckling Park.
