Councilman, student to speak with students

A Pasadena City Councilman will speak with UH students, faculty and staff Tuesday in the latest of the monthly Catalyst Leadership Luncheons, hosted by the Center for Student Involvement.
Cody Wheeler, the Pasadena Councilman for District E, is also a UH political science alumni and currently attends the University for his masters in public administration. He is also a United States Marine Corps veteran.
The Luncheon is designed to “Connect UH students with influential and inspiring leaders throughout our Houston community,” according to uh.edu. Speakers come to the monthly lunches in order to share their stories and answer questions.
The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the UC Ballroom East RM 210. Free lunch will be provided.
