The UH Jazz Orchestra teamed up with local broadcast veteran Donna McKenzie to provide a showcase of classic American jazz songs during “The Great American Songbook” on Thursday at the Moores Opera Center.

Featured composers included Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, George Gershwin and Harold Arlen.
