Houston has wasted no time getting back into the saddle in preparation for the start of the 2014-2015 season.
28 players with starting experience will be returning for the Cougars. This includes seven student-athletes who have received 11 national award preseason watch list mentions.
Behind Central Florida and Cincinnati, Houston Football was picked third in the American Athletic Conference’s preseason media poll.
Last season, the Cougars advanced to their 22nd bowl appearance finishing with an 8-5 record. UH is set to start a new chapter in their brand new stadium on Friday, August 29 against UTSA.
