For many veterans, coming home is not always an easy thing. Some seek employment, while others attend school. Harris County has the second-largest veteran population in the nation, and with the continuing draw down, many veterans will seek military-friendly schools such as UH to fulfill their academic needs. These veterans are making it happen.
