UH announced today that Alan J. Dettlaff has been hired as the new Dean of the Graduate College of Social Work. Dettlaff will take over for interim dean Paul Raffoul on May 1 after his appointment is submitted to the Board of Regents on Feb. 19.
Dettlaff previously worked at the University of Illinois at Chicago and serves as Chair of the Commission on Educational Policy for the Council on Social Work Education.
