Interim dean named for CLASS

Provost Paula Myrick Short announced today that Steven Craig has been named the interim dean for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.
Craig, a CLASS associate dean of faculty, will assume the responsibilities of former dean John Roberts while a search committee looks for Roberts’ replacement.
Craig has been at UH since graduating with his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has received numerous state and federal research grants as well as the Ross M. Lence Teaching Excellence award from the CLASS.
