Crime Report: March 2 through 9

The following is a partial report of campus crime that occurred between March 2 and 9. All information is selected from the files of the UH Department of Public Safety. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UH DPS at 713-743-3333 or [email protected].

March 2:

Forgery: A staff member at the UC Games room reported to finding a counterfeit $20 bill while working the day before. The case is active.

Harassment: A student has been receiving repetitive, unwanted emails from a former UH student. The case is active.

March 3:

Assault: Two employees reported that they were assaulted by one another, but neither wanted to pursue criminal charges.

March 5:

Criminal mischief: An identified person drove through a gated sidewalk near parking lot 15H, damaging it. The case is active.

March 8:

Duty Upon Striking and Unattended Vehicle: A UH staff member’s vehicle was damaged after it was struck by an unidentified object. The other vehicle’s operator failed to leave their contact information. The case is active.

March 9:

Harassment: A UH Faculty member reported that a former student is actively sending him harassing emails and voicemails. The case is active.
