Crime Report: March 15 through 22

The following is a partial report of campus crime that occurred between March 15 and 22. All information is selected from the files of the UH Department of Public Safety. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UH DPS at 713-743-3333 or [email protected].

March 17:

Theft: A student’s secured bicycle was stolen from a bike rack at Moody Towers. The case is active.

Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information: A student reported his identity was used by an unknown person off-campus; incident occurred in Ellis County, Kan. The case is active.

March 18:

Criminal Mischief: A UH Faculty member reported an unknown object broke the window to his apartment at Cambridge Oaks. However, it was determined nothing was taken. The case is active.

March 19:

Theft: A staff member reported multiple items stolen from the student lounge at the Quads. The case is active.

March 20:

Theft: A student’s unsecured wallent and contents were stolen by an unknown individual; the theft happened at the Wortham Theatre. The case is active pending new information.

Theft: A student’s vehicle was stolen at an off-campus location at the intersection of Callie Street and Elgin Street. The case is active pending new information.
