UHPD investigates aggravated robbery in sorority complex

UHPD is currently investigating leads into the suspect of an aggravated robbery on Saturday morning in the Bayou Oaks apartment complex.

The incident occurred in Townhouse #4, early Saturday morning around 8:40 a.m. An unknown male entered the victim’s unlocked room, exposing himself in a sexual manner, and took the student’s cell phone and student ID. The man entered with a 3-inch pocket knife, but the victim didn’t show any injuries.

It is unsure how the suspect entered the automatically-locked complex, where the Delta Gamma sorority resides.

UHPD described the suspect as an unidentified black male weighing between 160 and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The suspect is approximately five feet, eight inches tall and it’s unknown whether the male had any facial hair. He had no scars or tattoos visible according to the report sent today.

It was reported that the suspect wore a blue T-shirt with unidentified white writing on the front, tan pants or shorts and a red/green button reading “Cougar Movers.”
