Trump may have just lost the election
Donald Trump is done.
After almost a year of worrying, I now realize that Trump never really had a chance to become the next president of the United States.
It’s not because of his lack of any real policy when he discusses issues, or his unwillingness to change the way he runs his campaign. It’s actually what most of us thought all along: He doesn’t have the disposition or backbone to become president.
Trump has continued to show a tendency to lash out, get angry and do whatever he wants despite the consequences. To his supporters, Trump has always been the candidate that says what all of them are thinking and is lovable for it.
Now, after a hectic couple of weeks, Trump loyalists should reconsider that sentiment. Especially when he starts attacking veterans and his fellow Republicans.
Trump recently attacked a Gold Star family and initially refused to endorse Paul Ryan and John McCain for their re-elections. It was reported that his campaign is basically a dumpster fire ready to explode. On top of all this, multiple well-established Republicans have announced that they are either leaving the party or even voting for Hillary Clinton.
It looks like Trump does have a limit to how far he can push his vitriol. Republicans have advocated and fought for the rights of the military for a long time. There still may be a few unrelenting Trump supporters, but for the most part, most people think Trump went way too far in attacking the Khan family.
“I think I’ve made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard,” Trump said, in direct response to Khizr Khan’s speech. It is one of the most disrespectful things you can tell to a military family who lost their son to war.
Capt. Khan’s sacrifice, and in turn his family’s, is possibly the greatest thing someone can do for their country. Capt. Khan didn’t just live his life enjoying the freedoms this country provides. He fought for us and gave his life for his brothers-in-arms in Iraq.
Trump telling the Khan family he has sacrificed a lot is like spitting in their face or worse. The only good thing to come out of this horrible incident is that he showed the country that everyone will be attacked by Trump, including those who think they are untouchable.
He is going to lose in November, and it didn’t even take him shooting someone in the street to prove that he can lose voters. Many have turned their backs to Trump because he has turned his back against them for the last time.
He has gotten away with attacking veterans on numerous occasions, but this Gold Star family was the last straw.
To be honest, I think Trump would have been more respectful if it wasn’t for the fact that the Khans are Muslim. Not only this, they had the nerve to call out Trump and show their support for Clinton in front of millions.
With Trump’s RNC poll bump all but diminished, Clinton is primed to just sit back and watch the mogul self-destruct.
Usually, the overly confident GOP nominee tells people that he is sure to win in November and, “Make America Great Again!” Instead, he has started dropping hints of a rigged election and seems to have faced reality.
The funniest part of this whole thing is that the unrelenting mouth that got Trump to where he is has now buried him so deep that he may never get back out. People can now see that his vile and ridicule are not just toward minorities and Muslims.
Of course, the general election will not occur until November, but many people who once supported the supposed political outsider have now jumped ship and have publicly denounced Trump.
Twelve years later, Humayun Khan, a hero who died saving the lives of his fellow soldiers in Iraq, may end up saving all of our lives too.

This is why Trump will lose in November. I don’t think it will be a landslide for Clinton, by no means, but his words and actions could alienate enough people for the Democratic nominee to capture most major swing states and become president.
The biggest enemy right now for Trump is a tie between himself and time. With just over 90 days to go until the general election, the camera-loving and unfiltered Trump still has a lot of time to offend many more people.
