A body has been found in Brays Bayou near UH campus, according to a report from KTRK-TV.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the scene to the south of the campus on North MacGregor Way.
In the news report, HPD officers said they received a call about a car that drove off into the bayou. At the scene, the roof of a white vehicle is seen protruding from the water.
Investigators are working to confirm whether there is a connection between the submerged vehicle and the body found in the bayou.
