At the Mr. UH event Tuesday evening, the Student Programming Board announced that Nico & Vinz will perform as part of the annual Homecoming Concert on Nov. 11.

Nico & Vinz are a Norwegian-based singing duo who rose to international prominence with their 2013 hit “Am I Wrong.”

“Nico & Vinz are a great duo with an amazing set list of music,” SPB said. “Their music contains a very positive message that resembles their background and outlook on life. We thought they would appeal to the diverse student population at UH, and we think that students are really going to enjoy their performance.”

The rest of the week will feature a block party, games and activities from SPB, the Metropolitan Volunteer Program, the Homecoming Board, Frontier Fiesta, the Campus Wellness and Recreation Center, and the Residence Hall Association.

The events will lead up to the Cougars’ game against Tulane University at TDECU Stadium on Nov. 12.

Tickets for Nico & Vins will be available Oct. 3.

  • These aren’t going to sell. Poor decision on the part of the homecoming board, if there is still time I’m pretty sure us students would appreciate an artist we enjoy, maybe even know. You said it yourself in this article the only song people know, if they do, by them is Am I Wrong coming out in 2013. It’s 2016 maybe choose an artist who has had a hit this year
