Sarah Krusleski: All right Khan, so what brings you to the library?
Abdul Khan: We have a meeting with the (Coalition for Responsible Investment) today.
Krusleski: You consider yourself responsible?
Khan: No… the rest of my teammates are and they make up for me.
Krusleski: It’s good to see some honesty here. So like, how could you be more responsible in your everyday life Khan? Yeah, that’s right.
Khan: I don’t think we have time to get into that.
Krusleski: So what are you doing after this?
Khan: After this, I plan on doing homework until I pass out.
Krusleski: OK, that’s very responsible, I think.
Khan: (laughs)?Krusleski: Yeah. So, doing homework until you pass out. What classes are you taking?
Khan: I have stupid Spanish.
Krusleski: Uh oh. Is that different from the Spanish 1502 class I took?
Khan: No, not really, it’s pretty much the same thing. I just don’t like it.
Krusleski: Oh, OK Khan hates it.
Khan: I hate Spanish.
Krusleski: Oh, they put you in there. Do you have a message for your teacher?
Khan: No, no comment.
Krusleski: What are your plans for on campus?
Khan: I just want to make it through. I have 37 hours left and I want to get it done in one year. That’s about it, that’s the only plan.
Krusleski: That’s a hectic plan. So you’re taking a bunch of hours every semester?
Khan: Not really a bunch, just five classes, 15 hours…I’ve been doing it for the last year. It’s very tiring, but it works. It works.
Krusleski: So how do you deal with being tired?
Khan: Lots of coffee. Coffee is the substitute for sleep.
Krusleski: Maybe that’s why you’re bouncing around so much. Is that why you’re so bouncy?
Khan: No, I actually got sleep today. I actually just got here. I actually slept today.
Krusleski: You slept? Wow. So tell me more about this sleeping.
Khan: Well, every once in a while I dream about sleeping, but it doesn’t really happen. So when I actually get to do it, it’s nice.
Krusleski: That’s awful.
Khan: It is.
Krusleski: But that is nice – to sleep.
Khan: It is nice – to sleep.
Krusleski: So I see a little glow in your eye right now.
Khan: I see a little twinkle in yours!
