Sarah Krusleski: So how’d you get through (Hurricane) Ike, Josh?
Josh MacDonald: I just basically stayed at my apartment the whole time.
Krusleski: Do you get photographed a lot for the paper?
MacDonald: No.
Krusleski: You should wave to (The photographer). Maybe do a little dance.
Krusleski: Why are you majoring in mechanical engineering?
MacDonald: Well, I really like math and stuff like that. My dad said I should look into mechanical engineering. Physics and stuff I really like.
Krusleski: That’s pretty cool.
Krusleski: If you could be any kind of superhero, what would you be?
MacDonald: Probably Superman, because he has all the powers.
Krusleski: What if I brought Kryptonite with me to the interview?
MacDonald: Well you’re a little girl, and even with the superpowers gone, I think Superman could still take you.
Krusleski: I think Supergirl would have something to say about that. If you could be any kind of villain, what would you be?
MacDonald: Maybe Magneto, like the X-Men movies. He’s pretty cool.
Krusleski: I bet a little girl could beat him up though, because he’s pretty old.
MacDonald: You think so?
Krusleski: Yeah, take away all the metal.
MacDonald: Yeah, that’s true.
Krusleski: I’ll be waiting for my day.
Krusleski: If you got a paid vacation off work, where would you go and why?
MacDonald: I’d probably go to Mexico. I’ve never been to Mexico before.
Krusleski: Why would you go to Mexico?
MacDonald: Don’t know. It’d be fun. I have a lot of friends from Mexico and they say it’s really cool over there. It’s refreshing – a different culture, you know.
Krusleski: How would you use your superpowers during your vacation?
MacDonald: If I had superpowers, I wouldn’t go to Mexico. I’d go somewhere I could fly. Probably go see France, maybe steal some artwork or something like that.
Krusleski: Ugh!
MacDonald: Well, I’d have superpowers!
Krusleski: That’s more of a villain thing.
