Keith Cordero: Did you vote in the recent presidential elections?

Mimi Tesson: I did.

Cordero: Who did you vote for?

Tesson: I voted for (Barack) Obama.

Cordero: Any specific reason for that vote?

Tesson: Because I like his campaign and some of the stuff he’s gonna change.

Cordero: Did you feel kind of bad that your vote didn’t really count because (John) McCain won Texas?

Tesson: No.

Cordero: Any condolences for McCain and (Sarah) Palin?

Tesson: No (laughs).

Cordero: What is it that you like about hotel and restaurant management?

Tesson: I like it because it’s a lot of different stuff and a lot of different opportunities and different careers you can go into.

Cordero: What kind of Starbucks drink are you drinking right now?

Tesson: It’s a peppermint mocha.

Cordero: Did you know that the Jets are playing the Patriots tonight on Thursday night football?

Tesson: No, I had no idea.

Cordero: Do you know who the Jets’ quarterback is?

Tesson: No. I’m not a big sports fan.

Cordero: Which would you rather have, H‰agen-Dazs cream or Ben and Jerry’s ice cream?

Tesson: H‰agen-Dazs.

Cordero: What kind of Starbucks drink is your friend drinking?

Tesson: Strawberries and cream.

Cordero: What do you think of the photographer (Austin Miller)?

Tesson: (Laughs) I don’t know. He’s nice.

Cordero: Why are you on campus fairly late in the evening?

Tesson: Getting Starbucks. We live on campus.

Cordero: Do you attend the Rec Center at all?

Tesson: Yeah.

Cordero: What is your favorite activity?

Tesson: I just run.

Cordero: Have you ever considered running in the Boston Marathon?

Tesson: (Laughs) No.

Cordero: Did you watch the Olympics this past summer?

Tesson: Some of it.

Cordero: Name one Olympic athlete.

Tesson: Michael Phelps.

Cordero: True or false: Did Michael Phelps win nine gold medals?

Tesson: I think he did.

Cordero: It’s actually eight, so that’ll be incorrect.
