Shai Mohammed: I noticed you were working on an Angus Burger, is that what that was?
Sarah Roushani: Yeah. We’re working on a marketing project. We’re working with the advertising company that represents McDonald’s in Houston.
Mohammed: Why are they giving us the Angus Burger?
Roushani: It’s a new product that’s going to be launched in 09, and we’re working on the marketing project for it.
Mohammed: What do you do when you’re not here studying?
Roushani: I’m working, I have an internship.
Mohammad: Where?
Roushani: It’s a software company down by the Galleria. I’m a marketing intern there so I work there Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Mohammed: What do you do for fun?
Roushani: Go to football games. I go to all of the UH football games.
Mohammed: How did you like the last one?
Roushani: Amazing. It was fantastic. I also hang out with my boyfriend.
Mohammed: That’s cool. So where are you from originally?
Roushani: Houston.
Mohammed: What part?
Roushani: Cypress, near Spring.
Mohammed: Have you traveled a lot?
Roushani: Yeah, this summer my family and I went on a road trip. We went to see my grandparents and everything. We went to Michigan, Wisconsin, just drove all up there.
Mohammed: Wow, that’s a pretty solid road trip. Was it your whole family?
Roushani: Yeah, just my parents and me.
Mohammed: What is Michigan like?
Roushani: It’s awesome. You can sleep with the windows open. It’s great. But it’s a small town. I can’t do small towns.
Mohammed: Yeah, not so much, not growing up here.
Roushani: (Laughs) No, no, no. I need my city.
Mohammed: So when are you graduating?
Roushani: Fall of 09.
Mohammed: Are you looking forward to it?
Roushani: Yeah, I can’t wait.
Mohammad: Are you doing any post-bac work?
Roushani: Um, UH Clear Lake has a health care administration program that I’m looking into, but I definitely want to graduate and be in the work force for about three to five years before I even think about any of that.
