The Cougars’ finally stumbled, losing 70-60 to Tulane in the semifinals of the Conference USA Tournament at the Don Haskins Center on Friday.
Tulane led at halftime 37-31. UH was able to take a brief lead with 11:24 to go in the second half, but Tulane would never trail by more than four points.
The Cougars will now be waiting for 6 p.m. Monday when the NCAA Tournament Field is announced.
