Three UH players will have a chance to make an NFL roster after signing as undrafted free agents.

Phillip Steward, who was a leader on the defense from the middle linebacker position, signed with the St. Louis Rams. Steward was 14th nationally with 11 sacks. He also forced five fumbles in 2012. During his junior year in 2011, Steward led all linebackers with seven interceptions.

Lineman Jacolby Ashworth, a four-year starter, signed with the Washington Redskins. Long snapper Brandon Hartson will get an opportunity with the Chicago Bears.
