Charles Sims, the Cougars’ leading rusher in 2012, has decided to play football with West Virginia.
“I’m familiar with the offense and I just felt comfortable at West Virginia,” Sims said to Fox 26.
“I’m familiar with their schemes and what they have going.”
Sims will not have to sit out a season after graduating from UH in May. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
“It feels real good to make this decision,” Sims said. “It’s the next step in my life.
“I just want to hurry up and get back to what I do.”
With Sims leaving the program, more will be expected from sophomore running backs Kenneth Farrow and Ryan Jackson.
