Recent graduates of the University have banded together to create a pub crawl that supports nonprofits.
Crawl for a Cause is a charity crawl in which teams of four compete in games to win ticket proceeds for their selected nonprofit that has 501(c) tax-exemption status. The crawl was held at 5 p.m. Dec. 14. Competitors started at Luke’s Icehouse and ended at Underdog Sports Pub, where a free concert was given by local musicians Positive Disturbance.
Tickets ranged from $25 to $35 per person, and free gifts were given out.
The crawl was sponsored by ProCare Chiropractic and Sports Therapy.
