Final exams begin May 1, and the University will hold several events during the next two weeks to give students ease.
Counseling and Psychological Services will host two workshops. The first, the final Food for Thought Workshop of the semester, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. April 23 at Conference Room 210D of Student Service Center 1, titled “Got Stress? How to relax before finals.” The second, “Keep Calm and Make it Through Finals,” will tackle how to cope with stress during finals. It will be held from noon to 1 p.m. April 30 in the same location.
As part of National Anxiety and Depression Awareness Week, the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will hold Anxiety Screening Day with CAPS from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 30 at the CRWC Rotunda. Last year’s screening included free massages, yoga, popcorn and games.
Finals end May 9, with the official closing of the spring semester on May 10.
