Crime Report: Sept. 14 through Sunday

The following is a partial report of campus crime that occurred between Sept. 14 and Sunday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Department of Public Safety. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UH DPS at 713-743-3333 or [email protected].

Sept. 15

TheftA contractor reported that her wallet had been stolen at TDECU Stadium from a storage room. The incident occurred Aug. 23. This case is active, pending new information.

BurglaryTwo students reported that their cars had been stolen from 3700 Anita St. Another three complainants reported to having property stolen from them, as well. This case is inactive.

BurglaryUH student reported her vehicle was stolen from the corner of Milby and Elgin between 11:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. This case is active, pending new information.

Sept. 16

TheftA student reported his backpack missing from the M.D. Anderson Memorial Library. The backpack was stolen at some time between 6:30 and 6:34 p.m. This case is active, pending new information.

Sept. 17

AssaultA UH Taco Cabana employee reported that she was assaulted by another employee at 11:22 a.m.. The suspect fled before officers arrived on the scene. This case is active, pending new information.

Sept. 18

TheftA UH student reported that his laptop had been stolen from the Hilton Hotel between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. This case is active, pending new information.

Burglary of a Motor VehicleA student reported that their vehicle was burglarized in Lot 16I at some point between 12:30 and 6:15 p.m. This case is still active.

Sept. 19

AssaultA student reported that she was assaulted in the M.D. Anderson Library by a known individual at 3:20 p.m. This case is active, pending new information.

Online Impersonation: A UH staff member reported that someone was impersonating him through online and mobile social media between Aug. 1 and Sept. 3. This case is active, pending new information.
