Wardrobe Wednesday: the first installment

Every Wednesday, we will feature style profiles of two students in an online installment called “Wardrobe Wednesdays.”

Pictured above is pre-business sophomore Peter Le.

His shirt and pants are from Express, and his shoes are from Nike.

He describes his style as “edgy but laid-back.”

“My girlfriend and I usually go to Cafe 101 for happy hour after class. I like to get a skydiving specialty drink. Their honey milk tea is also really good.”

Pictured above is Houston transplant 28-year-old Rachel Chen.

Her dress, belt and scarf are from stores in Hong Kong.

Chen: “I moved here two months ago. I used to work at a financial consulting company in Hong Kong. I hope to start up my own here in Houston. My husband is in his first year of grad school at the Bauer College.”

TC: “What are you doing in the UC games room?”

Chen: “My husband is here playing in a ping-pong competition.”

TC: “Are you showing him support by cheering him on?”

Chen: “I don’t care for it. I’m just waiting for him so then we can go home.”
