The Conrad N. Hilton School for Hospitality and Restaurant Management is branching out.
Demolition to the inside of the Sunset Station hotel in San Antonio is underway, according to the San Antonio Express-News. Whenever the building opens in June 2015, the three-story building will be the home to San Antonio’s first four-year program in hospitality management.
In May, the Board of Regents approved a budget of up to $2.5 million in order to rent out the space, while the college itself will spend $139,600 annually to lease the building. With a 10-year lease in place, renovations will also be done on the first and second floor to include study rooms and advising offices, while the third floor will house classrooms exclusively.
