A 5-year-old boy with a rare blood disease needs a bone marrow match, and KRIV-26 and Be the Match are teaming up for a registration drive on Friday.
Cline’s doctors have already searched through a donor list of 11 million and found no match.
KRIV-26’s Sally MacDonald will broadcast live from 7 to 10 a.m. at the UC South, and the drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UC South. Registering involves only a quick swap of the inside of the cheek and filling out a registration form.
