Houston will open its final two-game road stretch with a matchup against the SMU Mustangs at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28. The game will be broadcast from Dallas on the CBS Sports Network as announced by the American Athletic Conference Monday morning.
The Cougars currently hold the lead in previous matchups with the Mustangs with a series record of 18-10-1 and 8-4 in Dallas. Houston has won seven of their last eight meetings with SMU, ending last season with a 34-0 shutout victory.
The road game will be the Cougars’ 27th appearance on the CBS Sports Network and is 20-6 in previous instances on the network, including their 28-24 win over Memphis this season.
The Cougars are currently tied for fourth in the AAC with a conference record of 3-2, making the road stretch after their final home game this Saturday key to UH’s final standings.
