Students wanting to sidestep the stress minefield of studying for finals can enjoy “Stress Free Finals Week,” a series of events running from now through May 5, the last day of classes.
April 28
“Stress Free Finals Week” kicks off with Chill Out Coogs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Student Center Circle Drive, where students can enjoy a chill-out zone, make their own stress balls, get free fans and more.
The Campus Recreation and Wellness Center will offer chair massages, stress relief dogs, food, meditation and prizes from 1 to 4 p.m. as part of its Unwind with Wellness event.
April 29
Counseling and Psychological Services will offer a Food for Thought workshop on relaxing during finals from noon to 1 p.m. in Student Service Center 1 Rm. 201D.
The Student Program Board has put together a Springfest to end the semester with the bang of festivities, music, food, ice cream and games from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lynn Eusan Park.
Night owls can jam to the music of InfraRED from 8 p.m. to midnight at Lynn Eusan Park.
May 1
The inaugural Bike to UH Day is hosted by the UH Office of Sustainability and Bike Houston. The social ride around campus will start at 1 p.m. in Butler Plaza, with refreshments and food provided for anyone who bikes to campus, starting at 8 a.m.

May 5
“Stress Free Finals” flourishes with Finals Mania, an all-time student favorite that serves up pancakes with toppings and more, all of which is free with your Cougar Card. The event will be from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. in M.D. Anderson Library.
