A student was robbed Wednesday morning at approximately 10 a.m. on her way back to her apartment complex at Cambridge Oaks, according to an email from UHPD to students.
The two male suspects allegedly exited the vehicle, approached the student, pushed the female student against the building and took her purse.
UHPD reported the victim was pushed but saw no weapons in the scene.
According to the student, the first suspect was a 25 to 30-year-old ‘chubby’ black male, roughly six feet tall, weighing at about 200-250 pounds. He was bald with unknown eye color. He was seen wearing a red polo shirt, blue jeans and possibly wearing glasses.
The second suspect, the driver of the vehicle, was described as a black male wearing a light green shirt.
The suspects fled in an unknown direction in the vehicle. The vehicle is a four-door sedan gray or silver 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, displaying Texas license plates DCH-9748.
UHPD is actively investigating this incident.
Anyone with any leads on the unidentified suspects is encouraged to call UHPD at 713-743-3333.
