Senior golfer Blair Hamilton is preparing to end the fall season as he competes at the Western Refining College All-America Classic in El Paso this Saturday.

Hamilton is the only Cougar at the event. He is one of only 21 participants looking to capture the prestigious title, with an average score of 71.67 per round this season.

Hamilton’s best solo outing this season came at an event where the Cougars won a team title, coming back from a 17-stroke deficit to win.

At that event, Hamilton earned a fourth place finish, his best of the year.

Hamilton earned an invitation to this tournament after being named an All-America Honorable Mention by PING following last year’s campaign.

The All-America Classic concludes the season for the Cougars and sends them into their winter break.

The spring season begins for the team when they host the All-American Intercollegiate tournament at the Golf Club of Houston in February.
