Election poll sites will reopen their doors for the 2015 Houston mayor runoff election Saturday. On the ballot, Houstonians will vote between former Kemah mayor and Houston Chronicle columnist Bill King and former Texas Representative Sylvester Turner.
Also on the ballot, Houstonians will vote for seven city council seats. According to Houston Public Media, in four of the districts, the incumbent candidate failed to secure a majority of the vote while the remaining three were open seats.
I think Bill King will take it. The latest polls I saw him and Turner locked at 38% each. You have to remember that the HERO ordinance went down in flames. Turner supported the ordinance proposal, while King never mentioned it as part of his campaign.
