The Cougar women’s basketball team will close out the 2015-16 season on Monday night while honoring the outgoing class of seniors before their game against the University of Memphis Tigers.

UH is coming off a 63-54 win over conference foe Southern Methodist University, their second conference win of the year.

The Cougars will honor five seniors on Monday night: guards Alecia Smith, Bianca Winslow and Jessieka Palmer and forwards Marche’ Amerson and Tyler Gilbert.

Palmer, in the last road game of her career, led all Cougars in scoring with 19 points in their game against the SMU Mustangs.

The last time these two teams faced off, the Cougars dropped a 74-57 decision. This time, they will be looking for revenge in their home finale.

Following the game against Memphis, UH will head to the American Athletic Conference tournament in Uncasville, Conn.

The Cougars and Tigers tip off at 7 p.m. on Monday night, with senior day activities set to take place before the game.
