A student was robbed at the bus stop on Scott Street south of Holman Thursday afternoon.
The robbery occurred approximately at 5:10 p.m. according to an email sent out students, faculty and staff. It was reported the student was approached by a female suspect who approached the complainant, interacted with her and then demanded her backpack. After struggling the suspect left the backpack but retrieved the complainant’s wallet and electronic devices, according to the report.
The suspect is described as a black heavyset female with a ponytail, white t-shirt and a lip piercing on her lower lip. The suspect entered a white vehicle driven by a black male with no other description and fled northbound on Scott.
The Metro Police Department is actively investigating the case.
