UH is hosting the March of Dimes’ March for Babies Walk this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is the walk’s 20th year at UH and is expected to bring in over 30,000 participants to campus. As a result, several parking lots and surrounding roads will be closed starting Friday.
Calhoun Road will be closed off staring Saturday at 7:30 a.m. until Sunday at 4 p.m. Cullen will remain open until Sunday, but will then be closed off starting at 8 a.m. until noon.
Most of the parking available across from the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, lots 20A, 20C and 21B will be closed off starting Friday until Sunday.
Students interested in participating in the walk can still join a UH team and sign up online for a $25 registration fee.
