Limited parking and street closures will occur due to Convocations and the University-wide Commencement taking place from Wednesday to Saturday.

Areas around Hofheinz Pavilion, the Cullen Performance Hall, the College of Architecture building and TDECU Stadium will be crowded with students and families of graduates.

Officers will direct traffic on Holman Avenue and Cullen Boulevard. Holman will be closed to oncoming traffic Wednesday through Saturday from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Cullen will be inaccessible for 30 minutes starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, as commencement attendees move to the stadium.

Parking lots 15A, 15G and 15C will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday, but cars present in the lot will not be towed.

Students are encouraged to find alternative spaces in lots 12A, 12B, 16B, 16D, 16E and 16F.

The Stadium and Welcome Center garages will be reserved for attendees, but students that have permits can still park in either garage. Students may be directed to spaces at higher levels to accommodate guests.

More information about campus parking during the days of the commencement ceremonies can be found here.
