Country concert, Cougars game dominate weekend

Russell Dickerson

7 p.m., Sunday, House of Blues

The country crooner from Nashville, Tennessee is coming to H-Town this weekend as part of his U.S. tour. This is an all ages event. Get your tickets now.

Cougars vs Navy Watch Party

2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Honors College Commons

We hope you are ready to see football’s next game in the, so far, explosive 2016 season right on campus and among friends. Food from Raising Cane’s will be served. Volunteer to help the host, the Honors Student Governing Board, by signing up here.

“Crazy Reality” — Tim Burton Tribute Group Show

7 p.m., Friday, East End Studio Gallery

Let’s face it — at some point throughout your life you have watched a film from or heard the name Tim Burton. This weekend, see the quirkiness, beauty and twisted charm of the director behind “Edward Scissorhands” and “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” at this special event. Be sure to carefully check the details as the times after opening night are different.

Light the Night Walk

4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, on campus

Hosted by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the purpose of the walk is to raise funds and give those who are suffering the power to break through. Please sign up first — as a member of a team, as your own team or by yourself.

2016 Lamborghini Festival

3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, CityCentre Plaza

No need to go to Spain to see the bulls gather. The annual one-make car show honors everything about Lamborghini as well as devotes its funds toward helping children with cancer. This is the only place where Diablos, Countachs, Murcielagos and the brand’s classics share the same space — start driving.
