For one night, UH will have its own roller rink.

The Homecoming Roll Bounce Skate Party is taking place this Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m at the Student Center Houston Room, which is being transformed into a roller rink.

People who attend are in for a night of socializing and skating. Participants will receive skates, food and a custom airbrush T-shirt.

With an entire week of festivities, it can be difficult to know which events to attend, but the Roll Bounce Skate Party is one worth checking out. An old-fashioned Roll Bounce dates back to the ’70s and ’80s.

In celebration of Homecoming, this is a night for dancing to great music, skating with friends and meeting new people.

“The Roll Bounce Skate Party will feature music and be a lot of fun, so bring your friends and get ready for a great time.” said Homecoming Chair Brooklin Corbins on Monday during the Homecoming Pep Rally.
