Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Patrick Fertitta to the UH Board of Regents. His term will run through Aug. 31, 2027.
Fertitta was recognized by The Athletic as one of the nation’s leading young professionals on its “NBA 40 under 40” list in 2024.
He is a director at Fertitta Entertainment, the parent company of the Houston Rockets.
Fertitta serves as director of the Space City Home Network and as an alternate governor on the NBA’s Board of Governors.
