Smart Phones: Issues & Solutions. A Presentation by Dr. David Nghiem, President of Global Wireless Technology

With the widespread use of cellular telephony, there are health issues and solutions that electrical and computer engineers, as well as the public, need to be aware of to know and understand. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has been asked to consider raising the limit on cell phone radiation; the Government Accountability Office would like to consider updating the standard that limits the amount of radiation a cell phone can emit. International standards will allow U.S. cell phones to emit up to 20 percent more radiation than currently allowed.
