The Daily Cougar received an Associated Collegiate Press Online Pacemaker in 2011, recognizing it among the nation’s best college newspaper websites.

The Daily Cougar is published Monday through Thursday during the fall and spring semesters, Wednesday during the summer, and online at thedailycougar.com. The University seeks to provide equal educational opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, natural origin, sex, age, disability or veteran status, or sexual orientation. The Daily Cougar is supported in part by Student Service Fees. The Daily Cougar is editorially independent and student-run within the Department of Student Publications. The Student Publications Committee meets monthly to monitor the progress of the publication and hear concerns from the public.
