Lecture and Q&A by To Write Love On Her Arms Founder

Student Housing and Residential Life is hosting the founder of To Write Love On Her Arms, Jamie Tworkowski, for a lecture and audience Q&A at the Student Center South Theater. All UH students and staff are invited to attend the talk with the suicide, self-harm and addition prevention and recovery nonprofit's founder.

Golf Doubles

Southwyck Golf Club 2901 Clubhouse Drive, Pearland

The Department of Campus Recreation is hosting a golf doubles tournament on April 22. The $25 fee per player covers the green fee, cart rental, range balls, two non-alcoholic drink tickets and great weather at Southwyck Golf Club. Registration opens on Monday, Feb. 29 and runs until Monday, April 12 at noon.

The Women and Gender Resource Center is hosting their second film screening of the month, this time in the Student Center Theater. A screening of "The Hunting Ground," a documentary about sexual assault on college campuses, will start at 7 p.m. and a panel discussion will follow.

Paws and Relax: Therapy Dogs for Finals

The puppies are back for spring 2016 finals week. Faithful Paws will bring their therapy dogs to the M.D. Anderson Library for four days, May 2-5, from 7-9 p.m. each night for students to pet and play with.
